Acharya Sir Prafulla Chandra was a Bengali chemist, educator and entrepreneur. And founder of the Indian School of modern chemistry, and also was a pioneer of chemical industries in India. He is a symbol of plain living and self-denial. He always come forward in disastrous situation like floods or famines in Bengal, and as a scientist, he donated all of his earnings to the victims and downtrodden people.
