The puppet theatre or Putul Naach of South 24 Paraganas, the Medinipur mythological drama, festivals like Gajan and Charak, Bonbibir Pala of the Sundarbans, Kushan Pala and Chor Chunnir Gaan of North Bengal and the modern jatra are some of the folk theatre traditions that are presented in the film.
