Tarpu is a wind instrument made of bamboo and gourd. This folk instrument is found in Gujarat. Majorly used in group dance and folk ensembles in Gujarat and neighboring regions.

Material: Bamboo, Gourd
An elongated full length gourd fitted with two equal length bamboo reed pipes with a megaphone attached at the open end. Single beating reed. Blown through the mouth piece. Finger holes, three on each pipe are manipulated by both the hands. Used in group dance and folk ensembles in Gujarat and neighbouring regions.
