Tungbank is a stringed instrument made of softwood and parchment. This plucked instrument is found in Sikkim. Majorly used as an accompaniment to music and dance of Sikkim.

A plucked instrument. The long finger board and the deep round resonator made of a single piece of soft wood. Resonator is covered with parchment. Three strings, tied to a hook on one end and connected to the pegs on another end. Played with wooden plectrum. Used as an accompaniment to music and dance of Sikkim.
